    What America needs is God.

   Often we as people feel like we can solve every problem America has...but that's where we are wrong.  
    We must to seek God and the only thing that can save us is our Lord Jesus Christ.
    Looking into what consumes our world - we don't get a clear vision of God.  It often seems that our nation has forgotten about God.
     But there is hope! God has not forgotten us. We can be deceived and pulled far from the truth but God is still there and always will be.
     It is never too late to ask for God’s help and to be saved by Jesus.
     "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me," Revelation 3:20.
     Here’s what Pastor Greg Laurie had to say in an article published on foxnews.com.
    "We see the breakdown of the family, crippling addictions, and random acts of horrific violence. We have done our best to remove God’s word and his counsel from our courtrooms, classrooms, and culture. Despite the fact that we, as a nation, have largely forgotten God, the good news is: God has not forgotten us. He still can bless and redeem our country."
     I think he has it right. We need to come together as a nation and ask God for His help.
     It is only when we follow God that we will truly become the nation we were meant to be.
      I urge you to take some time out of your day to pray for this country, this wonderful country that we are all so blessed to live in.

S.O.S: God Please Help!

Isaiah 40:28-31

"²⁸Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
²⁹ He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
³⁰ Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
³¹ but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."


This is one of my favorite passages in the Old Testament.

Sometimes when times are hard we feel like God has abandoned us. We think He's forgotten about us and that He has far better things to do. But you are surely mistaken. This passage is proof that God ALWAYS cares for his people - especially in times of trial and suffering.

He promises to bring us peace when we turn to Him. We see here that Gods sovereignty is far greater than any human mind can ever and will ever understand.

This is the Creator of the universe, the heavens, everything. His strength is the more powerful than anything.

God will provide and breathe new life to anyone who puts all their faith and trust in Him and Him alone.

Lucky them: Engineer Grads Making Bank

    College grads with degrees in fields like engineering and computer science seem to be making more money than anyone else.
    According to a recent report by The National Association of Colleges and Employers...7 out of 10 of the highest paid jobs were in the engineering field. 
    The report showed some engineers are making on average $90K a year - and this is RIGHT out of college. Crazy huh?
     Most students, on average, in 2013 are making just under $45K annually.
     If your mind isn't programmed to be an engineer the list of highly paid graduates includes: computer science, management information/business, and finance majors.
     So... save your $5 bucks, date an engineer ;) !

What's Your Love Language?

       I'm curious, how do you love your special someone? I'm looking for tips on what you think makes the flame in a relationship last. Personally, I like surprises...flowers, cards, etc.

 In a new book I'm reading called "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman it says there are five ways people show love: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Gifts, Acts of Service, and  Physical Touch.
        So what is yours? That's the question I am currently trying to figure out. I would love some feedback from anyone who has read this. Here's a link to a bookreview I found.

Daily Inspiration: A Native Land of Faith

My wonderful boyfriend sends me these daily reminders of what is truly important in this life. They are so good that I feel everyone should be given the chance to read them. Enjoy and God bless!

God's redemptive love for us is beyond anything this world offers us. There is nothing we can do to earn it. It is a free gift God has chosen to give us. It is, however, our responsibility to accept His gift by faith. Paul admonishes us to, “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses" (1 Timothy 6:12).

E. Stanley Jones writes:

"I am inwardly fashioned for faith and not for fear. Fear is not my native land. Faith is. I am so made that worry and anxiety are like sand in the machinery of life and faith is the oil. I live better by faith and confidence than by fear, doubt, and anxiety."

We have been redeemed from eternal death through Jesus Christ. We no longer have an occasion to fear. Our fate has been sealed, and we have every reason to have hope for the future. Many people, however, do not realize the power of God's redemption. They cower in fear and worry about tomorrow.

Each one of us can think back to a time when we felt fearful and wanted to retreat. God, however, calls us to move forward in victory.

Fear is one of Satan's favorite weapons against the believer. Fear blocks God's love. Fear stifles creativity. Fear destroys our dreams. Fear prevents us from telling others about the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul reminds us that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us and gave Himself for us (Romans 8:37). The redemptive love of God is ours to enjoy. When we walk by faith, we refuse to allow fear to rob us of God's blessings.

Psalms 46:1

"God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble."
